Supervised
credit operations of West Coast and Northeast regions
of CoBank to include loan committee approvals, credit
administration, credit classifications, etc. Served as
the Sacramento middle market portfolio manager for two
years. Loan committee chairman responsibilities up to
$50 million. Had four direct reports and nine indirect
reporting relationship managers. Scope of authority included
125 accounts with $1.7 billion of commitments. Frequently
served on committees or delegated tasks concerning policy/procedures
development and personnel training. |

ACB 1989-1995, Texas Office Manager |
Managed
all responsibilities of the Texas office of CoBank. Upon
CoBank merger started with twenty five employees and downsized
to twelve in six years. Office closure sent Bob to Sacramento.
Texas portfolio size started at $300 million and was downsized
to $150 million from the formation of the Headquarters Corporate
Division and reduction of twenty five problem credits. Portfolio
ranged from 120 to 160 accounts. Loan officers supervised
ranged from eight to five. |

This
credit management position involved working on agribusiness
cooperative loans in participation with district banks for
cooperatives. Served on the loan committee approving all
credit actions. |

Account
officer and a working supervisor of three junior credit
officers. Managed the credit relationships of agribusiness
cooperatives. |
Bank

1970-1979 |
Started
banking career with Bank of America in Madera California
as an Agribusiness Credit trainee. Progressed through six
credit and staff positions in four locations. One position
was in Indonesia. Experience started with consumer lending,
farmer financing and progressed to agribusiness corporate
and cooperative lending. |
